Mrs. Yaa Amponsah Frimpong, known as Obaa Yaa, is the current two-term Chairlady of the NPP-USA Branch and the Aspirant for the position of National 1st Vice Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party in the September 20, 2026 National Executive Officers elections. A graduate of KNUST, the University of Denver, and Regis University, she brings nearly 30 years of unbroken NPP service, a record of institutional modernisation, and over $1 million in personal campaign investment to her candidacy. She is the co-owner of an Accounting and Tax Services firm in Aurora, Colorado, and the founder of the NPP Global Medical Team.
